About the Farm

Ffynnon Samson is a 40 acre organic holding nestled beneath the Preseli hills on the border of the Pembrokeshire National Park. It comprises of pastureland, mixed woodland and near the river, a marshland area hosting rare butterflies and orchids. Located on the crest of a hill the farm affords breathtaking views of the highest peaks of the Preselis to the north and the Eastern Cleddau valley to the south.

Visitors are welcome to roam on the farmland and explore the river which runs along the bottom of the valley at its western border. A footpath crosses the farmland and provides a link to the large network of paths and bridleways which weave across the Preseli hills.

For the two wheeled adventurer there are a network of cycle paths called the Bluestone trails which criss-cross the Preselis and link up with the Landsker trails to the south.

The main income of the farm is generated from growing and selling organic vegetables. A wide variety is grown, and depending on the season a variety of salads, beans, brassicas and root vegetables will be available. We also keep a number of  chickens, ducks and geese. The eggs from these birds are available for guests.
